Recent Hunt for a Record Player....epic fail.

So I've been trying to get a record player, so I decided to call up the salvation Army before taking the long journey across town to check it out.

This is the exact convo I had with the woman....

Ring Ring Ring*

Old Lady perhaps at least 90 answers the phone...

O.L(old lady): HELLO...?

Lara: Hello, Do you have any record players?

O.L: RECORD PLAYERS?

Lara: Yes...record players?

Lara: You know like a phonograph?

O.L: PHONOGRAPH?

O.L: oh, yeah we might...

Lara: Oh, do you?

O.L: I'm not sure its so FAR away...

Lara: Ummmm...maybe I'll come in then...

O.L: Okay dear....click* She then hung up the phone on me...LOL!

Today I went in and she was working the counter...she told me her husband loved to play neil diamond on their phonograph...LOL!!!
